HOʻOMAKUA: generational growth realized
In 2025, Kupeke Ahupuaʻa secured the purchase and ownership of 300 acres of Kupeke ahupuaʻa. This acquisition spans the entire ahupuaʻa, from the very highest peak at Punalua to the kuapa walls of kupeke fishpond on the shoreline. The land is now owned by Kupeke Ahupuaʻa, essentially Kupeke Ahupuaʻa owns itself and we are servants fulfilling a land stewardship role.
